Halloween Makeup and Outfit

Last night I went to a Halloween Party where we ended up carving pumpkins, eating spooky treats and watching ‘Scream’. I predictably went as a Vampire due to a lack of creativity and a lack of money to spend on an exciting outfit, therefore I opted to wearing black and after watching many creepy makeup tutorials, I settled for a vampire themed look.

For makeup I used a light concealer under my eyes and to cover any blemishes, I’m already quite pale but if you’re lucky enough to have naturally tanned skin, some people choose to wear a cover up (either foundation or powder) that’s a few shades lighter than their skin tone.

On my eyes I used lipstick (I know a bit odd) but after a little research, many people believe that it tends to stay put for longer than eyeshadow and has a stronger pigment, so you don’t need as much of it. The lipstick I used was No7 ‘Sultry’. I then lined my eyes with a thick wing using a Sephora eyeliner. In the inner corner of my eye I used ‘Venus’ from my naked basics palette, and from the same palette I used a mixture of ‘crave’ and ‘faint’ in the outer corner.

On my lips, I used the same sultry lipstick on the inner of my lips and a slightly darker shade around the outside.
